Just hoping you might give me some more insight to where Im goin with these arrows.
Yeh Im shooting off the shelf, I bought a doz Easton 20/20 (alloy) they are 31 1/2 inch. I cut two back to 30 inchs. I am using hot melt glue, and have put knocks on a couple of unfletched arrows with inserts with 125g fieldpoints, after a few shots Im seeing that the arrows are going in on an angle with the knocks hanging out to the right. I thought by taking an inch off them they might help solve the problem, but only seemed to make it worse.
There is still about 4 inch hanging out the front over the riser.

Thanks heaps for your knowledge on tuning my arrows for my Grizzly. So glad there are people willing to give up their knowledge and experience, much appreciated.
  3. In my view, that's the advantage of a canteen.

I bought a bunch of 4 litre thinsulate covered canteens some time ago now. If you put chilled water in them, it stays nice & cold all day.

I always hunt to a plan and put a large large circuit at the end of a marked transit point. With canteens, you can stash one and pick it up at the transit point later. I always use a nav maker as the stash and it means you can stay out all day without having to carry all your water all the time. The canteens keep the water really cool and weigh almost nothing when empty.

Agreed the hike starts off heavy, by by the time you drink & stash some water, you're well hydrated and on the ball by the time you get to the stalk.

I hope that makes sense to folks.
