    2018 Group hug/hunt

I don't want to step on any toes or assume a role that's already filled by someone else on the forum so if we already have an organizer for next year's group hunt, I'm gonna step back and take my place among the keen followers.
I got to thinking recently that I missed the group hunt this year because of work commitments and I don't want that to happen next year. So here I am starting the discussion, getting some opinions, suggestions etc so that myself and others who missed the boat last year, might be able to get our sh!t together and join in on the 2018 group hunt.
I posted a comment on the 2017 group hunt thread, just to see if discussions had started for next year and the suggestion was for a Cape York trip. A trip to the Cape would be the sort of thing dreams are made of but in reality (sadly) for me, I doubt I can afford or justify the expense of a trip like that.

So, what are people's thoughts? I'm happy to start the discussion and planning of a trip for next year if it's within my reach financially and physically but if I can't be there I'm going to step back and let someone else take the reigns.

I've done some quick searching using good old Google, and come up with a few places. If anyone else has some suggestions or knows of any good hunting properties suitable for the group hunt, please share and we'll see where we end up.
I can only speak of my experience at jackal's Hide in May this year. I was very happy with it and would be very keen to go back there next year. I guess it depends how far people have to travel, how much time they can get out of their normal life and how much individuals can afford.
OK, spit it out. I'll start the ball rolling with some info from 15 mins googling....

Would love to come next year, can I suggest not coinciding with the rut as most guys are busy making plans to hunt deer.

That Wandibindle station looks good, has anyone from here been there?

Wandibindle could be a good option, plenty of accommodation, and red dirt hunting would be a good change

Mountain Creek is a fenced game park, expensive too, $150 per day + $300 goat trophy fee ouch. defiantly not for me

Doesnt really worry me when it falls but yeah if we can sort out a suitable time for the majority, that would be if go hey.
I thought Wandible looked good too, certainly worth considering

Has anyone hunted wandibindle before? Curious to know how switched on game is, as it's rifle hunting as well?

Dollar for dollar milani and jackals hide seem best to me, but maybe get some EOI's on here and see if we can get a discount if we have numbers + do a bit of promoting again? (Stubby holders, write ups, etc)

Jesse, thats what Im hoping for, some EOI so we can narrow it down.
OK so dates? Are we aiming for before the rut? During? After? Or nowhere near it?
Keep the comments coming so we can narrow down location a bit.

Well, I'm keen again. Before or after the rut suits me, maybe May?

I'm at the F1 grand prix in March (around the 25th from memory) so please not that weekend if it can be helped.

I'll probably be driving up from vic again wherever we go, so if anyone wants to meet up on the way let me know once we have a place and date.
