Thread: D Loop

    D Loop

I've been using BCY #24 for years with no probs, but of late, despite using the same length as I've always used, I seem to be getting more stretch. As I prefer a smaller loop - with just enough room to attach the release behind the knock - just wondering what everyone else is using....cheers..

    D Loop

I'm wondering how those plastic nock points would go for the lighted nocks

    D Loop

Yeah. Ok wtf is right. I always just assumed they were plastic from how they looked, googled it. They are metal.
    Ones like that.

We had a guy turn up at our club with one of those metal D loops when I was living up north, he was shooting an X-Force and the bow was making a "ping" sound when he shot it. I checked his riser and you could see where the metal D loop was hitting it and taking little chips out of the finish. It would have been good to see a slow motion video of the shot.

Hey Johnno, I used Brownell for years and always tried to pre stretch and still tied in a smaller D loop than needed, would take around 20 shots @ 70# to stretch and settle.

I use the bcy, haven't had any issues. I use these pliers, works for me.
