    Deep Six Compatibility

    Morning All,
I am currently using the HIT insert system in my Axis 300 shafts.
Not entirely happy with it so looking to try the Easton Deep Six inserts. However, I have heard that the Deep Six is only compatible with certain tips and broadheads. Is this true?
I currently use Tusker Spirit and Ozcut Takedown in 125gr
Can anyone shed some light here?
    Cheers, Doc.

    G`day Doc
the deep 6 arrows are a micro diameter shaft thats too small for the standard 8-32 thread to fit so they uses 6-40 “Deep Six” thread.
so any points you fit to these shafts need to be Deep Six thread.

Easton do make an outsert to fit the deep 5 shaft to accommodate the standard thread.

I`m pretty sure the deep six inserts won't fit you Axis 5mm shafts.

Easton do make a brass HIT insert for the axis 50 or 75grn, that may be a better option to save buying new arrows
