Travel insurance for hunting in new zealand

Haven't tried it personally, but was listening to podcasts at work last night and apparently garmin have a upper level insurance you can buy on top of their inreach.. $175usd which covers search and rescue, medivac to closest hospital and then transfer to a local hospital back home up to 1mill worth.
Might be worth considering as ultra emergency cover..

It was agreat trip. Unfortunately the deer were very nocturnal and i never saw any except for trail cam shots and deer sign. But the fishing was outstanding and I'll definitely be going back. I have some unfinished business with the whitetail.

Which block did you hunt? Fishing is fantastic, worth the trip for that alone I reckon.

We were further south in port adventure bay this last trip. Just luck of the draw if the deer are moving in daylight or not. Guys hunting out of tree stands were successful & those ground hunting struggled. Bloody cold sitting in a tree all day tho. Think a pop up ground blind would be worth a try!
