    Old unknown Broadhead

    Hello,
I'm trying to find the identification of this Broadhead.
The only information that I have is that it is said to be an Australian made head.
Any assistance in identification would greatly be appreciated.
    Cheers. Bill.

WOW, with over 300 views and still no response to my quest as to the identification of this Broadhead.
It's looking to be a very rare head.

Will now have to list it as an "Australian Unknown".

Thanks for your reply, but it's not a Bear Broadhead, but it is sure that it's 99% an Australian made Broadhead.
A finger can't be put on it as to who actually made it.
Discussion leads to it being a Barry Johnson Ferrule attached to an unknown Blade.
It is currently recorded as a head going by the name of a Scorpion Broadhead made by Rudy Sendihofer.
Rudy and Barry hunted together a lot back in the late 70's and early 80's.
So it is thought that they got together and made a very small number of these heads as test heads, leading up to the production of Rudy's Buffalo Rib-ticklers that he used to drop a small number of Buffalo in the Northern Territory many years ago.
    So thanks. Cheers.

You would think that with nearly two thousand views.
Some one would at least know something about this Broadhead.
Is it something that was made up in Queensland?
Or is one of Paul Wheller heads, for Paul made many home made heads.
    Cheers.

Have you asked on that other aussie forum, plenty of old blokes that know everything there.
I have some 1955 Howard hill heads that have the same profile but aren't spot welded, wish I could help you out

    Thanks for your reply Rhino.
The only other forum that I have asked about this head is in the Australia Oztrad.
I also thought that there would be a few that may know something of this head.
But no, it looks as if it is a one off and something rare.
It is registered with the American Broadhead Collectors Club.
But very little is known about it.
    Cheers.
