    A bit of bowcarping

This is a quick bit of footage I knocked together back at the start of the year, I took my mate for his first bit of bowfishing.
I thought some may be interested in it as I haven't seen much bowfishing on the forum.

An important note: Bowfishing carp is legal in South Australia (in back waters of the Murray River), but every state has different regulations, please check your state rules before you bowfish.

Nice shooting and keep removing them.
My level of maturity depends on who I'm with.

I'd be unstoppable if not for law enforcement & physics.

Dont thank me for being nice to you.... Thank the doctors that prescribe the medication that keeps me from shaking the stupid out of you!!!!

Thanks guys, I shot quite a few last summer, most had thousands of eggs, I think I probably helped the river a bit, if the gov relaxed a bit and allowed spotlighting them and in the eastern states I think we could make a bit of a dent

I wish we could smash the carp here in NSW :-( I love my bowfishing, used to do heaps when I was still in Queensland.
There's more fun in hunting with the handicap of the bow than there is in hunting with the sureness of the gun.

Yeah, this is a better pic of my rig

Just a browning 50 pound bow that my wife never used, the zebco is a fraction of the cost of a retriever but seems to work fine .
